2011 Day of Giving Event - Results
PITTSBURGH, Pa., October 12 2011 – The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Day of Giving last week generated funding for local nonprofits at the rate of nearly $75 per second over the 24-hour giving period. The total raised for charitable organizations in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties was $6,448,448

Ambassadors

The Ambassadors is a group created in 2010 to keep those individuals who have shown significant dedication and commitment to The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County and the surrounding community engaged and involved in the foundation’s growth and development. The Ambassadors are lead by Mr. T. Terrance Reese and consist of former board members, stakeholders, and philanthropic leaders who wish to:

  • Support and broadcast the mission of CFWC.
  • Aid in the search of benefactors.
  • Work to identify and encourage agencies to create partnerships through community convening.
  • Establish a personal financial commitment to CFWC.
