
PITTSBURGH, Pa., October 12 2011 – The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Day of Giving last week generated funding for local nonprofits at the rate of nearly $75 per second over the 24-hour giving period. The total raised for charitable organizations in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties was $6,448,448

The Planned Giving Design Center (PGDC) is a free online service for CFWC advisors and donors that provides them with Email News Alerts, including concise summaries and links to detailed commentary regarding the latest IRS pronouncements, court decisions and legislative developments affecting charitable taxation. DonorCentral
DonorCentral is an online service for donors at CFWC. By logging in with a Foundation-provided password, a donor may: look up the current market value of the fund and the amount available for grantmaking; make online donor recommendations; look up prior grants from the fund and view a current fund status report.
